What is the entry requirement for this course?

This course is suitable for you if you already have a Certificate III level qualification in aged, disability, or community care and you're currently employed in the aged care industry as a personal care worker. You cannot get the government subsidy if you do not meet these criteria.

Why should I do this course?

After completing this course, you will have the qualification to work in a supervisory position. You may be eligible for a higher pay too.

Do I need to complete vocational placement?

Yes, you do. However, the entry requirement for this course is that you must be employed in the aged care industry with a certificate III level qualification. Therefore, we can use your previous and ongoing work hours towards the placement requirement.

How long do I have to study?

This course is delivered 100% online via video sessions. We run weekly tutorials (day and evening) where we help you with getting through your course. You can also make additional appointments with your trainer. The approximate duration of the course is 14 to 18 weeks. Please note, you will qualify for some credits for your past study, therefore, the duration can be even shorter.

How much do I have to pay?

This course is subsidised by the Queensland Government under the Higher Level Skills Program. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can potentially save up to $4300 in the course fee. You will pay one of the following:

☑ Concessional Fee - $15/unit (maximum of $150 for 10 units)

☑ Non-concessional Fee - $20/unit (maximum of $200 for 10 units)

Please note there is no fee associated with Credit Transfers meaning you won't be paying full price.
